Franchisors should have a keen interest in their franchisees being successful. But our research has revealed a wide range of support systems. At one end are those franchise formats where you have a proven successful turnkey solution with all the support you could want on tap.

At the other end are franchisors that do the bare minimum, seek to milk the franchisees for all they are worth and then disappear with the profits. The latter are thankfully not common in the UK and the law, business associations and wary franchisees make them rare. However, there are a lot of franchises between the two extremes. And we are here to unlock the true potential of this silent majority.

The hugely successful, lucky, motivated and well supported top franchisees always make it into the magazines and into the franchise owners case studies. But few of us can reach these giddy heights. In fact, most franchisees aren't looking to earn millions but to have a lifestyle, good income and to take control of their working lives. And business people like this can boost their profits by 20% with the right support and advice.

We do not claim to replace your franchisor or to know their products and services better than them. There are many franchisors providing excellent training and support. Rather, we are business experts looking at all aspects of running your business. Much of it is common sense. But that is not so common from our experience.

Even if you know your products and services well, there are many others areas of business with which you may need guidance. For example; finance, sales, legal advice, recruitment, sales, marketing, communication skills, management and business growth.
